2. How Much is Tuition?

4. What is the Scope of Preschool?
Preschool class is geared toward 2-4 year olds, but 18 month olds and 5 year olds are welcome too!
Our style is nature based, play based, and child led. We gently teach children how to interact kindly and draw firm lines to decrease hurtful behavior. Academics are not forced, instead, an academic rich environment is provided so children learn in a positive way, which research shows increases long term learning motivation. Every class we do circle time, play in a Waldorf and Montessori style classroom, and go outside in a fenced yard with oak trees, small rocks to climb, and play equipment, where we do a curriculum activity and a farm activity. Curriculum activities are sensory rich, messy, seasonal arts and crafts! We also do seasonal celebrations and field trips to make for a well rounded school experience.
5. What is the Scope of Elementary?
Elementary class is geared toward 5-9 year olds.
It is a homeschool enrichment program focusing on electives and learning opportunities that can be difficult for homeschooling families to provide. Every class we do circle time, then go inside a Waldorf and Montessori classroom to do an art or cooking activity, then go outside in a fenced pasture with oaks, large rocks to climb, play equipment, where we do messy arts and crafts, gardening, or animal husbandry. At this age, participation from the children is required as part of a badge system so the children are sure to learn skills. We also do seasonal celebrations and field trips to make for a well rounded school experience. In the afternoon, we do academics, with families providing curriculum to cater to the family's and child's individual learning styles and pace. Teachers provide accountability, encouragement, tutoring, occasional help, or whatever the child needs.
6. What is the Scope of Middle School?
Middle School class is geared toward 10-14 year olds.
It is a homeschool enrichment program focusing on electives and learning opportunities that can be difficult for homeschooling families to provide. We build upon skills learned and do complex activities that the children plan themselves. We are just getting this program started this year.
It is significantly less tuition because class takes place in a greenhouse with air conditioning and tablespace for an indoor activity such as cooking, art, or pottery. (No formal classroom.) Then we go outside in a fenced pasture with oaks, large rocks to climb, and minimal play equipment, where we will do another activity such as basket weaving, animal husbandry, or gardening. In the afternoon, we do academics, with families providing curriculum to cater to the family's and child's individual learning styles and pace. Teachers provide accountability, encouragement, tutoring, occasional help, or whatever the child needs. We also do seasonal celebrations and field trips to make for a well rounded school experience.
