Hatching Eggs
First and most importantly, THANK YOU so much for your interest in our farm. Acorns To Oaks is a small organic regenerative family farm. We depend on the support of our community to maintain and expand operations. I would like to share some info about preordering eggs unique to a small family farm chicken breeding operation. Please read every section in the Info Section. Thanks!
Everything we sell is an expansion of an operation for our own food supply. That means everything we sell is high quality. Our farm has a negative carbon footprint. Our chicks are hardy and well nourished from hens that are fed the best organic fermented feed and pasture.
I only sell hatching eggs that are under 7 days old. I take every measure to gather, mark, and store eggs properly to not decrease hatch rates. When I incubate, I have around a 90% hatch rate with no difference in hatch rates between eggs stored 7 days or 0 days before incubation.

Delivery available for 55cents/mile plus $20/hour both ways from Valley Springs, or (on delivery days) from Sacramento or Livermore. Delivery fee and full payment required 24 hours before delivery.
